AUG 26, 2017 Amawaterways Siem Reap, Cambodia After another sumptuous breakfast, we “coached” to the Angkor temple complex at Angkor Thom, meaning “the great city.” This is home to Bayon Temple, best known for its gigantic smiling stone faces, as well as the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. AUG 24-25, 2017 Amawaterways Hạ Long Bay, Vietnam We all left by motorcoach for a scenic drive to Ha Long Bay. We left our primary luggage on the coach due to limited access and space on our overnight “junk” stay. We boarded with our small carry on cases for an incredible cruise into Ha Long
AUG 21-23, 2017 Hanoi, Vietnam After leaving DC Saturday afternoon, Aug 19, 2107, for JFK we flew JFK – Hong Kong – Hanoi, arriving Monday morning Aug 21. Long trip, loosing 12 hrs along the way. We traveled with Kathleen and David Keys and joined Anne Purvis at the Intercontinental Hanoi in the mid afternoon.
